Description
| This is a colorful and brightly colored rush grass rug. The delicate pattern is created by a technique called Fukuro-ori, which has a large number of warp threads. The folding is so complicated that it will break if long rush grass is not used. The dense warp makes it firm and tear-resistant. Domestic rushes (from Kyushu) are used. Each strand is thick, with a thick outer skin and fine fibers, making it resilient and durable. Rigusa has a natural purifying effect on the air and regulates humidity. It is also stain-resistant, and as it is used, it changes its color to a golden brown, which gives it a distinctive taste. The backing is covered with a non-woven fabric, making it suitable for use on wooden flooring. The rush grass is treated with Aomori Hiba (Aomori Hiba). (Antibacterial and deodorizing effect) |
