The traditional techniques used to produce indigo-dyed fabrics helped the area become a major denim production center after World War II. Various denim-related industries, including denim weavers and indigo-dyeing factories, have gathered in this area to engage in manufacturing. The yarn is also made from organic cotton from the U.S.A., which is grown in the U.S.A. by Dosi ALVAREZ. It is also blended with natural shades of brown cotton (terra cotta) and green cotton (beige) developed by entomologist Ms. Sally Fox. Extra-long staple cotton is cotton with fiber lengths of 35 mm or more. Cotton is divided into three types according to fiber length: short fiber cotton (21 mm or less), medium fiber cotton (21 mm or more, but less than 28 mm), and long fiber cotton (28 mm or more). Extra-long staple cotton is a particularly long-fiber type of cotton. The longer the cotton fiber is, the finer it is, the better it feels to the touch, and the more reflective it is when made into yarn, giving it a luster. Longer fibers also mean fewer joints in the twining process, making the yarn both more delicate and stronger. As a result, fabrics woven with super-long staple fibers are smooth, supple, lustrous, and strong, making them high-grade cotton fabrics.
