[Kaiun Neko Daruma] Daruma dolls have long been said to bring good luck in ward off evil spirits and epidemics. Because of its shape, Daruma is also compared to the meaning of "seven falls, eight rises" and "unyielding", and now it is loved as a good-luck charm like the beckoning cat. [The "Kaiun Neko Daruma" (Lucky Cat Daruma) is a Daruma-shaped beckoning cat that invites "good fortune" even if the cat does not raise its hands. |
