| Kohana cohana Handmade in Japan Brass Metal tape measure Ruler Measure The bamboo tape measure gives a nostalgic feeling to those who see it. The special feature of the bamboo scale is a pattern called a "star" that can be read from either the vertical or horizontal direction. The stars and scales are laser-engraved on the brass. The color does not fade easily and can be read clearly. The surface is gently curved and some of the stars are colored in vermilion. The more you use it, the more you get attached to it, and we recommend this brass bamboo scale as a gift for your loved ones. *The more it is used, the darker the color becomes and the more its texture increases with age. *Do not polish with metal polishers (metal polish, etc.) or polishing cloths. The vermilion paint may peel off. Do not leave the product soaked in water or acidic substances. Doing so may cause discoloration. *Green rust (Rokusho) may occur in rare cases during use. It is non-toxic and harmless. However, if you are concerned about it, please care for it as follows. *Apply a solution of vinegar mixed with an equal amount of salt to a cloth and rub it directly onto the area where the green rust has developed. and rub it directly on the area where the green blues appear. *Then wash with a mild detergent and dry well. *Take care not to injure yourself on the edge or corner of the ruler. *Sliding the edge or corner of the ruler against the fabric may cause tearing or color migration of the fabric.
