This is a 45cc shot glass with a Kikyo design.
The Kikyoh flower has both a delicate beauty and a dignified strength.
This white porcelain vessel captures the image of the Kikyo flower.
The white porcelain clay is made into a thin layer and fired at a high temperature of 1,340°C. The thinness of the clay makes it slightly translucent.
The thinness of the clay allows the bamboo leaves to be seen through the thin clay, reminding one of a scene seen through a shoji (paper sliding door).
You will enjoy the nostalgic tactile feeling of the clay when you touch and use it.
[Glazed Copperplate Vase]
Risen Pottery, located in Mizunami City, Gifu Prefecture, was the first pottery in Japan to produce underglaze glazed copperplate transfer ware about 150 years ago.
These are vessels made by a painting technique with luster and texture, based on the technique of the now-defunct kiln and using a different paint mixture.
