Description
| An oil jar is a container used to hold painting medium. They can be made of metal, resin, or ceramics, and the two-piece vases are designed to hold different painting fluids. For example, you can fill one with painting oil and the other with petrol, and use the two different liquids to paint with. The ceramic oil pot is for indoor use and can hold a large brush. A small Japanese painting plate may be used in place of the oil pot. There are two types of oil pots: the soroban type and the tubular type. The Soroban type has the advantage of not spilling the painting fluid even if it is tilted. *If oil is left in the jar after use, it may harden and prevent the lid from opening or render the jar unusable, so please wipe off the liquid at the mouth by placing it in another jar.
