| [Bubinga grip] A giant tree up to 30 meters high and 3 meters in diameter that grows only in tropical rainforests in Africa and other parts of the world. Its greatest feature is that it is extremely hard and *heavy. The grain of the wood is noticeable and it is resistant to insect damage. It is popular for table tops and the like because it can be made into large single pieces, but it is a rare timber that is rarely distributed because it is too hard and difficult to process, and it is too heavy to transport. [Beech shaft] The entire shaft is made of beech, a high-grade material often used for Scandinavian furniture. Beech wood is so flexible that it has been used for ski boards in the past, but it is actually a difficult material to process. It is hard, and if it is not dried thoroughly, it tends to warp. At Gastrock, we dry the lumber in our own facilities for as long as three years before processing. After the drying process, the beech wood becomes resilient and unbreakable, and is of the highest quality. This product is slightly thinner, with a diameter of 16 mm, and is coated with a black coating.
