It is made of simple cotton and woven roughly with a lovely bright checkered pattern, and can be used for a variety of purposes. Because they are roughly woven, they dry quickly, and the more you use them and the more you wash them, the softer and more comfortable the fabric becomes. ざっくりと編まれているから速乾性にも優れており、使えば使うほど、洗えば洗うほど生地が馴染んで柔らかくなってきます。お皿を拭いたり、目隠し布やランチョンマットのように広げて使用しても◎また、大きめサイズならクーラーの風よけや日焼け防止にも使用できます。
縫製はとてもラフで、生地にもほつれがあったり、うまく縫えていなかったり・・・本当にインドの一般庶民が使っているそのまんま。細かいことを気にせず使っていただける方向きです。
