Tokonameyaki has a 1,000-year history dating back to the late Heian period and is one of the six oldest kilns in Japan. A wide range of products are made here, from daily necessities such as teapots and tableware to construction materials such as ceramic pipes, tiles, and sanitary ware. On June 11, 1976, the area was designated as a traditional crafts area based on the national "Law Concerning the Promotion of Traditional Craft Industries.

*A stainless steel tea strainer is used, which can be used safely even for deep steamed tea with fine tea leaves.
*Please consider the capacity for two people (100ml per person).
*The tea leaves are made of white fired clay and fired at 1200 degrees Celsius. The material contains no harmful substances.
*There is a cutout on the shelf for easy disposal of tea leaves. (Easy-disposal structure)
