| [SION Natural Stone Power Stone] Shell pearls are man-made pearls that are created in pursuit of authenticity. Pearl essence or "pearl foil" is applied over and over again to the original pearl to create the nacreous layer, which is then covered with a layer of "pearl essence" or "pearl foil". The nacreous layer produces a soft glow with an aurora borealis effect, which is caused by the multi-layered reflection of light peculiar to pearls and is called "teri".
