Description
This is a coffee cup and saucer with a Ko-Imari pattern on the whole surface from Sehei Kiln, an Imariyaki pottery. The delicate and gorgeous decoration technique is used with overglaze painting in many colors such as gold, red, green and yellow on the underglaze blue. The wisteria flower, which has been said to bring good luck since ancient times, is added to the design, making this a popular item that has been handed down from generation to generation since the first generation of the Sehei Kiln. |
