The charismatic figure of the Kyoto art world* Seiho Takeuchi's life and representative works in one volume Seiho Takeuchi, who traveled to the West in the Meiji era to search for new expression, was active at the forefront of art during the Taisho and Showa eras, and trained many students. [He was even called "a painter who gives life to all things" because of his outstanding brushwork and emphasis on "sketching. This exhibition looks back on his career with approximately 130 representative works from his early years to his mature period, including the Important Cultural Property "The First to be Painted".
