This 70cm size furoshiki is a collaboration of mashu and Art Saratetsu, a historic dyeing factory in Tokyo established in 1906. The pattern of Ise-katagami, which was used for kimono shaku, yukata, obi, etc. that had been kept in the store for many years, and the classic dew grass pattern, are arranged together with a slightly different retro urn pattern. I redesigned it as a large pattern furoshiki.

In a wooden Gassho-zukuri factory that has been in Kyoto for 110 years, craftsmen continue to dye each furoshiki carefully, one by one, using the traditional technique of hand-dyeing.
