This is a furoshiki (wrapping cloth) of about 90cm size, created in collaboration between mashu and Tukiyomi design. [Aomiha波 (blue ocean waves)" is a traditional design that has been used to express the wish for "peace and tranquility to last forever" because of the calm and quiet sea-like appearance of the concentric circles of the same size, which resemble waves. In reality, however, there are many mountains and valleys, and it is not always easy to achieve peace. Even so, we have tried to keep the original "Aomiha" in our design, hoping that even when difficult times come, we can make our days peaceful, calm, and joyful. It is a perfect gift to wish for the healthy growth of your child or to give to someone who is starting a new chapter in their life. Of course, we dyed it in cheerful colors so that it can be enjoyed for everyday use as well. The pattern changes depending on how you wrap it, so please enjoy it.

In a wooden Gassho-zukuri factory in Kyoto that has been in operation for 110 years, craftsmen continue to dye each furoshiki carefully one by one, using the traditional technique of hand-dyeing.
