Description
| This is a furoshiki (wrapping cloth) of approximately 90 cm in size, created in collaboration with mashu and artist Miki Ueno (chidori graph co.ltd.). Since ancient times, the image of a bird holding a flower and branch in its mouth has been popular all over the world as a "flower-eating bird" design with the auspicious meaning of flying from paradise and bringing happiness. We designed this furoshiki so that you can enjoy various expressions depending on how you wrap it. The red bird is a color scheme that will cheer you up just by carrying it around, and the blue bird has a gentle impression of the sky in a calming wisteria color. In a wooden Gassho-zukuri factory that has been in Kyoto for 110 years, craftsmen continue to dye each furoshiki carefully, one by one, using traditional techniques to hand-dye each item.
