| High-cut sneakers created from recycled marine plastic poly Ocean Voyage is a recycled poly used for the upper. The beautiful ocean-inspired sheen makes these sneakers lightweight and easy to walk in without being too casual. The soft, stretchy fabric, Velcro belt, and soft fit make for a comfortable pair. The shoe's surface is treated with a weak water-repellent finish, making it easy to clean. The insoles are made of MISSION (Mission* recycled polyester) with a urethane finish for a soft and fluffy feel. Sustainable is now a matter of course. We want to do what we can do for the creatures of the sea, even if it is just a little. We want to move toward a bright future with compassion. [Ocean Voyage] Marine plastic is a serious problem. Fishing net waste in particular accounts for about 40% of Japan's marine plastic waste and needs to be reduced. This material is made by using waste fishing nets as raw materials, processing them into nylon recycled resin*, and then interweaving the spun yarn with recycled polyester to create a luxurious twill weave.
