インドの屋台などでよく使われている定番の鉄板（鍋）です。ただの鉄板と違い内側に向かって湾曲しているので油が中央に集まるようになっています。スパイスを油で炒めるインドならではの独特の作りになっています。「こんなデカいの仕入れてどうするんだ！」とスタッフから散々反対にあったのですが、久しぶりのインドで嬉しくなってしまって仕入れてきちゃいました。
直径50cm程度厚みは5mm程もある分厚い本格仕様。インド現地の業務用なのでキズだらけ・サビ汚れありですがそれもまた味わい深いです。インドの屋台ではパオバジを作ったり炒め物を作ったり、揚げ物を休ませたり様々な使い方をされています。
