| *Incense holder in the shape of a sake cup This incense holder is based on the motif of a sake cup. It is decorated with the six colors (five colors) associated with Buddhism. The six colors are the colors of light emitted by the Buddha at the time of his nirvana. The main motif of the Buddha Eye and the "Onn" (sacred sound) each have their own meaning, and the "Onn" is the most important word in Hinduism and is said to be the first sound made when the universe was created. このお香立ては盃（さかづき）をモチーフにしたお香立てです。仏教に因んだ六色-ろくしき-（五色）の色が用いられています。六色とは釈迦が涅槃の際に放った光明の色です。
またメインモチーフのブッダアイとオーン（聖音）はそれぞれ意味があり、「オーン」はヒンドゥー教において一番大切な言葉でこの宇宙ができた時に一番初めに鳴った音と云われています。数あるマントラ全てに必ずこの聖なる音「オーン」が入っています。
「ブッダアイ」は全知全能の神ブッダの知恵の眼を表していると言われています。この眼は悪魔や災いを祓い、持ち主に安寧をもたらすものと言われております。
それぞれ仏教絵画のような柔らかで繊細なタッチと美しいグラデーションがありとても綺麗です。
■色んな太さのお香が楽しめます
このお香立ては二種類の大きさの穴が仕立てられており、インド香（細め）と、通常のお香立てでは立たないちょっと太いネパール香を簡単に挿せて、お楽しみいただけるお香立てです。
中心の大きな穴には、チベットやインド香を、周りの小さな4つの穴には、いつものインド香を挿して使うことができます。
1つのお香立てで、どちらのお香も使えるのでとってもお得ですね。また落ちた灰を確実に拾えるような形で、なおかつ凹凸がないのでお手入れも簡単です。
このお香立ては全て一品一品がネパール人の職人の手作りです。ところどころにそれを感じられるような要素があって、温かみを感じます。
