Handmade by a special method called wet felting, this Nepalese felt product is made by carefully shearing wool and then patiently mixing it together with soap and water. The expressions on the animals are quite adorable, and you can feel the warmth of the handmade products. The designs are the very embodiment of Nepal's "yuru-chara" (loose-fitting characters) culture. Although the overall atmosphere is relaxed, the elephant's nose and monkey's hands are not fixed in place and move as they move. Felt products require a lot of patience to make, so you can feel that they are made one by one with care and attention, and this rucksack is made loosely but carefully. *To carry water bottles and other personal items. The size is convenient for carrying small personal items; I tried it with a 500 ml water bottle and it fit in it, so even though it is small, it has a good amount of storage capacity. ゆるくてかわいいフェルトで作られた動物たちのリュックサックです。ウェットフェルト製法という特殊な方法で手作りされており、羊毛を丁寧に刈り取ったあと、石鹸と水を使って根気よくより合わすことで作られるネパールのフェルト製品。
動物たちの表情がなんとも愛らしく、手作りのぬくもりを感じます。まさにネパールのゆるキャラ文化を体現したようなデザイン。
全体的に抜けた雰囲気なのですが、象の鼻やお猿さんの手など固定されておらず、動きに合わせてゆらゆらと動いたりと、細かく見ていくとなかなか凝った作りをしています。フェルト製品は、作るとにとても根気がいる物ですので、一個ずつ心を込めて作っているのが伝わってくる、ゆるくも丁寧に作られたリュックサックです。
■水筒など身の回り品の持ち歩きへ
ちょっとした身の回りの小物を入れておくのに便利なサイズ感。500mlの水筒も試しましたが入ったので、小さいながらもそこそこの収納力があります。ファッションの一部として、何も入れずにお子さんに背負ってもらってもかわいいと思います。
フェルトでちょっとした厚みもあるので、後ろに倒れたときなど背中を守ってくれそうな柔らかいところも、羊毛から手作りしたフェルトバッグの魅力です。
