Description
This set includes a matcha bowl and tea whisk. The matcha bowl is Akahada-yaki. Akahada-yaki is fired with iron-filled clay, which gives it a slightly red surface. The glaze is then applied to the surface and fired. In addition to the soft texture of the milky white color, the bowls are painted with a delicate touch with various patterns such as Nara's scenery, deer, and old tales. Akahada-yaki, loved by Hidenaga Toyotomi, is now popular among people of all ages for its unique coloring and the heartwarming charm of its Nara-e paintings. In the past, however, most of it was popular pottery used locally. Chasen is Takayama Chasen. [It makes you think your skill has improved] Chasen The tea whisk, which takes several years to process the bamboo material and is then finished by about 50 craftsmen, produces a fine foam that provides a luxurious experience for those who enjoy the tea and a peaceful time for those who serve it. |
