| Blue moonstone is the most popular and rarest of all moonstones. It used to be produced in Sri Lanka, but now the mines have been closed and there are fewer of them on the market. The mysterious blue glow is the moonstone's unique shimmering effect. This sparkle is seen differently depending on the angle from which it is viewed and also varies from stone to stone, This is one of the main attractions of moonstone and makes it unique. Among them, those with more vivid blue bands appearing in the clear part of the natural stone are called royal blue moonstones, and are more rare and valuable. Moonstone is the birthstone of June. In the past, it was believed to be a crystallized stone of the moon's radiance, and was considered sacred as the incarnation of the moon's magical power. People in ancient India worshipped moonstone as a "holy stone" and wore it as a talisman. Wearing this stone is said to work on the feminine part of the inner being of both genders, bringing out the sensitive and gentle side, easing stubbornness, and enhancing the charm of the wearer.
