| Special Features Men*Nude [The word "nude" is often associated with women. Since ancient times, many images of male nudes have been created as a vessel for ideals, desires, and pleasures. In this special issue, we will look at works on the theme of male nudity from all over the world, from ancient times to the present day. It explores what kind of consciousness and sense of values are involved in these works, both those of the recipients and the creators. The exhibition will explore the complexities of pre-modern values, homosexuality, heterosexuality, transgenderism, and other perspectives. By imagining all these perspectives, we hope to bring new aspects of the works to light. 本特集では、古今東西の男性のハダカをテーマとした作品を通覧し、
そこに受け手とつくり手それぞれの、どんな意識や価値観が錯綜しているのかを探っていく。
