Description
| It is made by craftsmen in Aizuwakamatsu City, Fukushima Prefecture, the birthplace of woodworking. Yamazakura is said to be the original species of Someiyoshino, the village cherry tree that blooms from March to April, and is a valuable wild cherry tree that has grown wild since ancient times, suited to Japan's four seasons and weather. It is said to have a longer life span than other cherry trees and grows into a large tree, and is often referred to in Japanese poetry. Its nature is hard and sturdy, and when polished, it reveals a glossy sheen and is characterized by its light pink hue. The language of flowers is "smiling at you," "purity," "beauty," and "loftiness. Delicate natural materials are dried, shaved, and shaped with the utmost care.
