It is a rare cotton with thick fibers, many cavities, and excellent water absorbency, as well as wool-like firmness and elasticity. [Tanguis cotton is also grown in Peru, where water is scarce, and has good water absorbency and a firm texture with firmness and elasticity. Using yarns spun from a combination of Aspero and Tangis, this towel combines the water absorbency and firmness of thick cotton, making it refreshing to wipe with.
