リューズガラスとは再利用されたガラスのことをいいます。
一般的には「リサイクルガラス」や「再生ガラス」とも呼ばれ、一度は捨てられたり不要になったガラスをリサイクルして使っています。
そのためリューズガラスは環境にやさしいサスティナブル（ Sustainable ＝持続可能）な社会への取り組みとしても注目されています。
リューズガラス製品はひとつひとつが職人たちの手によるハンドメイド。
炉（ろ）で溶かしたガラスを竿（さお）ですくい取り、型の中で息を吹き込みながら作る「型吹き成形」という技法で作られています。たとえ同じ型のシリーズであっても、全く同じ仕上がりになるということはありません。
ハンドメイドならではの、ガラス表面に生まれるわずかな“しわ”や小さな気泡、繊細な表情の違いなどをお楽しみいただけると思います。
さらにリューズガラスの風合いは無機質な印象になりがちなガラス製品に独特のあたたかみや素朴さをもたらしてくれます。
吹きガラス特有のやや薄くて軽い作りも魅力のひとつです。
