Description
Wishing you a happy day together at the table Japanese tableware with individuality and presence For special occasions such as New Year's and special dining tables, let's celebrate together with extraordinary tableware. Minoyaki's [Transformable Plate] series is a collection of unique and distinctive tableware using traditional Japanese techniques. [Transformable Plates] is Mino ware made in a part of the Tohno district (Toki*Tajimi*Kani*Mizunami*Kasahara) in Gifu Prefecture (Mino Province). Mino ware is said to have its origins as far back as the Nara period (710-794), and today accounts for more than half of all ceramics produced in Japan. From bright red glazed plates with festive designs, to black plates that add a touch of glamour to a dining table, to plates that are distorted, all of the "deformed plates" have a sense of movement in their design. Even sashimi, which is difficult to serve, and simmered dishes with little color can look good if placed on a kinky plate. Having a few of your favorite shaped plates is very convenient for serving guests on short notice. The greatest appeal of porcelain is that it does not absorb water! The lack of water absorption naturally means that food odors do not remain, making it a very useful vessel for daily use at the dining table. It is only because it is made of porcelain that you can use it without hesitation even for dishes with plenty of spices and garlic. No other care is required. Just wash it gently with a soft sponge and dishwashing detergent, and dry it thoroughly. Easy and convenient to use, it is a strong ally of busy people and working mothers. [Half-moon dish Nichiwa Mikamii is a vessel with a motif of a half-moon using a glaze called "Mikamii. The vortex rolls inside the dish also have a strong impact, and the design gives the dish a strong presence. It is perfect for serving sashimi on top or deep-fried foods such as tempura. It is also great for serving tea cakes for guests. |
