Description
| Each blade is carefully cut by blade craftsmen in Seki City, Gifu Prefecture, the town of cutlery, so that envelopes and other items can be cut comfortably. The sheath is decorated with the golden Goshichi-kiri family crest, which is reminiscent of Toyotomi Hideyoshi's favorite sword. When displayed on a hanging stand, it can be quickly taken out and used without having to look for a paper knife when you want to use it. Because it is housed in a sheath, the blade is never exposed and can be safely stored. |
