| This is a miniature car of the car in the movie [Bluesmobile] from the 1980 movie [Blues Brothers]. It is made of die-cast metal in 1:24 size and faithfully reproduced. The base car is a 1974 Dodge Monaco 440, which was used as a police car in New York State at that time. In the movie, it was the favorite car of the Blues Brothers including Jake and Elwood. The [Bluesmobile] was auctioned off by the police and looks like an on... The car chases in shopping malls, on highways, and in the city of Chicago are comedic... The crash scene is also terrific, and the getaway is brilliant.... The number of cars destroyed in the filming is said to be 103... This was a world record at the time.
