| [LIMITS Digital Art Battle] First World Champion Aogacho's first collection of works This is a collection of works by Aogachou, a female illustrator who draws her own fantasy world using creatures and monsters as motifs. Aogacho, based in Osaka, Japan, has been active since the 2000s, specializing in dragons and monsters, and has created numerous visuals for video games such as [Requiem for Gods and Monsters], [Cross Legend], [MONSTER HUNTER], [Legend of Monsters], [Fire Emblem], etc. She has also worked on illustrations for publications including mythological worlds and fantasy literature. I am in charge of illustrations for publications such as literature. He actively holds solo exhibitions* and group exhibitions, presenting his work in both digital and analog formats. I participate in exhibitions and sales events such as Comiket and Comitia, and in recent years I have also been taking part in commissioned productions. He has been participating in [LIMITS Digital Art Battle] since 2017, winning the World Grand Prix in his first entry and finishing as runner-up in 2019 by just one point. Blue Goose's works often include cruel and grotesque depictions. His unique view of life and death, based on the severe competition for survival in the natural world and the providence of the law of the jungle, is always present in his works, which sometimes show a cold-hearted and sometimes warm-hearted attitude toward living creatures. Her unique worldview is created by combining these images with stories inspired by myths and fairy tales. This collection focuses on the narrative nature of her work, with an original story newly drawn at the beginning of the book, and each work is accompanied by a text by the artist, allowing the reader to enjoy the world of her work. The artist's deep knowledge and consideration of living creatures underpins Aogacho's expression, which ranges from insects to reptiles, fish, birds, mammals, and extinct creatures such as dinosaurs. His anatomical studies of skeletons, joints, muscles, etc., and his accurate depictions give his motifs a realistic life-like quality, and he applies this knowledge when drawing imaginary creatures such as griffons, pegasuses, and dragons.
