A rustic and warm vessel to accompany you during break time when you want to take a breather. These mugs and soup cups have a warm taste that you can feel the warmth because they are handmade by RIKIZO. To keep the drinks and soups inside from getting cold, the form of the cups is spread out toward the bottom. Carefully finished one by one using three different glazes in subdued tones The mug has a capacity of 240 ml and the mug has a capacity of 383 ml. 3 colors are available: natural, which makes use of the texture of the clay itself, black, which is matte and exquisitely even, and beige, which dares to have a rough texture. One large soup cup that can hold potage, vegetable soup, or side dish soup with rumbling meat in it can be used for many things. [Otomo's soup cups are slightly larger, so you can use them not only for soup, but also for curry or other roux, or even as a tonsui (a small cup used to hold a small amount of water)! The simple design of this soup cup makes it an item that can play a supporting role to a main dish. 土の風合いがあたたかなOTOMO
あたたかい土の風合いが印象的な【オトモ】シリーズ。ほっと一息つきたい休憩時間のお供に欲しい素朴でぬくもりのあるうつわ。手仕事のRIKIZOだからこそぬくもりを実感できる、暖かみのある味わいのあるマグカップとスープカップです。中に入れたドリンクやスープを冷めにくくするために、下に向かって広がっているフォルムにしています。落ち着いた色合いの3種類の釉薬を使って、一つずつ丁寧に仕上げました
マグカップは容量240ml、マグカップは383ml。カラーは土の風合いそのものを活かしたナチュラル、マットで絶妙なムラを作ったブラック、あえてざらつきのある風合いにしたベージュの3色です。どれもこだわりのあるカラーで、落ち着いた雰囲気。大切な方へのプレゼントにもおすすめです。
【オトモ】は笠間焼です。笠間焼とは茨城県笠間市の焼き物。江戸時代中期1772〜81年に開窯されたと伝えられており、関東地方で最も古い焼き物産地です。現在では300人以上の陶芸家や窯元がいる窯業産地となっています。
