Description
A lion and a sheep are blended in with a Scandinavian-style floral pattern with a playful expression. The hand-applied Kobiki lines on the surface of the bowl are deeply tasteful. The cracks on the surface are called "kan-iri," which is one of the highlights of Japanese tableware. It is not due to breakage of the product. [Nukiri] A technique that utilizes the difference between the clay and glaze during firing. These cracks are different from cracks in the base material, so there is no leakage or cracking from them. It is safe to use. [The difference between a penetration and a crack] If you touch the surface with your hand and feel a scratch, it is a crack. In this case, the piece is defective. A "nuki" is formed on the inner surface of the glaze (surface color) and is not scratched. [How to use and care for the pot] Before using the pot for the first time, we recommend that you stop the glaze (by boiling the pot in rice brine). For details, please refer to the instructions included with the product.
