| [Negoza is made of [Okinawa beagu], a very rare and valuable fabric. Okinawa beagu is a type of rush that is thick and strong as a result of adaptation to the harsh environment of Okinawa over a period of years. It is about 2 to 3 times thicker and about twice as heavy as mainland rushes, making it stronger and longer lasting. Therefore, the moisture absorbing and discharging effect, which is a function unique to rush grass, is also about twice as effective, absorbing the dampness of summer and eliminating the sticky feeling of perspiration when lying on the floor. After many years of use, the surface gradually turns a beautiful candy color, giving it a luster as if it had been waxed. The most important feature of this material is its rarity. It can only be produced in Okinawa, and the area planted is so small that it cannot be found in stores on the mainland.
