Description
Yokai Zukushi Handkerchief [Odokebakkemono Zukushi]. This large-sized handkerchief can be used not only as a handkerchief, but also as a bandana to wrap around the neck, or to wrap a lunch box, etc., for a variety of purposes. The gauze material is soft to the touch and absorbs water well. Made in Japan. [The Mysterious and Interesting World of Japan: Yokai Series] Ukiyoe (Ukiyoe) is a series of paintings depicting customs, stories, still lifes, and landscapes from the Edo period (1603-1868). The interesting and funny world of yokai, such as a picture scroll of instrumental yokai traveling at night and a picture scroll of mourning gods attaching themselves to vessels, is made into a single handkerchief. Supervised by Goichi Yumoto, a collector of Japanese yokai paintings. |
