| The simple pale gray design of the [Surir] series is eye-catching. The base is a matte, pale gray. The elegant form beautifully complements your dining table. It can be used at a special table or as an accompaniment to work. It is an item that will lift your spirits if you use it on a daily basis. [Surir] is Kasama-yaki. Kasama-yaki is pottery made in Kasama City, Ibaraki Prefecture. It is said that the kiln was opened in the middle of the Edo period (1772-81) and is the oldest pottery production area in the Kanto region. Today, it is a ceramic production center with more than 300 potters and kilns. One large soup cup that can hold potage, vegetable soup, or side dish soup with rumbling meat in it can be used for many things. [Souper cups from Surir are a little larger, so you can use them not only for soup, but also for curry or other roux, or even as a tonsui (a small water vessel)! The simple design of this item allows it to play a supporting role to a main dish. 【スリール】は笠間焼です。笠間焼とは茨城県笠間市の焼き物。江戸時代中期1772〜81年に開窯されたと伝えられており、関東地方で最も古い焼き物産地です。現在では300人以上の陶芸家や窯元がいる窯業産地となっています。
