The ancient Egyptian word "Ankh" itself originally meant life, and it is considered to be a vital religious symbol. The upper part of the Latin cross is shaped like a looped oval and is said to resemble a sandal strap. In hieroglyphics, it is also used to represent the Ankh and Anx sounds, and Tutankhamun Tut-ankh-amen also uses this character for the ankh part of Tut-ankh-amen. The inner part surrounded by a cartouche is Ankh. In present-day Egypt, it is said to be a symbol of Egypt, and those who believe in the power of the ankh will be resurrected only once.
