Description
| The Shinsengumi, led by Isamu Kondo, returned to Edo after the defeat in the Battle of Toba*Fushimi. However, Kondo was surrounded by the new government forces in Nagareyama and surrendered. Hijikata, who replaced Kondo and led the surviving members of the Shinsengumi, fought in the northern Kanto region and Aizu, and joined Takeaki Enomoto's fleet in Sendai. He landed in Ezochi in search of a new land. Finally, the final battle against the government forces, the Hakodate War, is about to begin! |
