We created this item with the hope that shesay's items will grow into items that will be universally loved for a long time as well.

Washi has been a part of Japanese life since ancient times.
In the past, it was used for calligraphy, shoji screens, and fusuma paper, and was a familiar part of Japanese life, but as times have changed, we have seen less and less of it.
However, with the changing times, we see less and less of it. In Echizen City, Fukui Prefecture, the tradition of handmade washi has been preserved for 1,500 years, using the same raw materials and the same tools as in those days.
Handmade washi is made from mitsumata, kozo, gampi, and other plants unique to Japan, and each sheet is made by hand, so no two are alike.
