[Chetna*Organic" is a farmers' cooperative with a vision of "sustainable agriculture.
As the name suggests, cotton is harvested from November to December on farms that stick to organic farming methods.
The harvested cotton is seeded and sent to a spinning mill dedicated to organic cotton to be made into yarn.
After that, the baton is passed to a sewing factory [Raju*Lakshmi] that has acquired international FATRADE certification.
Each professional carefully carries out many processes, including cutting, sewing, and inspection.
The finished garments are then sent to the wearers through sisam.
Organic farming still accounts for only 1% of all cotton cultivation methods.
