This all-purpose cloth, called gamcha, is a cloth full of life in India and is similar to a tenugui (hand towel) in Japan. It is made of simple cotton and woven roughly with a lovely bright checkered pattern, and can be used for a variety of purposes.
Locally, it is used for altars, wrapped around the head, or used as a hand towel. Match the color and size to anything*.
