A dark, subdued shade of dark moss green lined with blue trees. It is a relatively thin fabric of about 16mm, smooth to the touch, and carefully crafted. There is a slight difference in width, measuring 56 cm at the top end and 59 cm at the bottom end.
This is a Gabbeh of a finer weave rank called [Amare]. The density of the weave is higher than that of regular Gabbeh, and better quality wool is used, so you can feel a sense of high quality. The pile has a silky sheen and is smooth to the touch.
