The coffee beans are carefully grown at the Xtepec Estate in Mexico, located in a nature reserve. Certified by the Rainforest Alliance, the coffee is grown in an environmentally friendly and sustainable production system. The beans' flavor is further enhanced by their privileged location in a natural park.
The beans from the Kustepec Estate are roasted to a deep roast, bringing out a bitter, strong, full-bodied flavor and aroma. The deep flavor, reminiscent of cacao and roasted nuts, is accented by a hint of sweetness, and is richly enjoyable right through to the finish. It has a sharp bitterness, yet is smooth in the mouth and goes well with milk. It is also a good choice for café au lait and iced coffee.
