Bachan ware is a type of ceramics produced in Bachan village in the suburbs of Hanoi in northern Vietnam. Its history is old, and it is said that many ceramics were produced in Bach Chan Village around the 15th century, and these were exported to Japan during the Muromachi to Edo periods under the name of [Seinan-yaki]. Today, Bach Chan is still known as a pottery production area, and there are a number of wholesale stores and workshops in the village.
