Ise cotton, which has been produced since the Edo period, uses the most basic type of yarn called single thread.
Single thread is very difficult to weave because it breaks easily, and it can only be woven with single thread made of good yarn. Fabrics carefully woven with monofilament yarn are supple, soft to the touch, and wrinkle-resistant, and the more they are used, the more they develop their own unique flavor.
