World Kitchen Explorer. born in 1989 in Nagano Prefecture, Japan. After completing a master's degree in engineering at the University of Tokyo, she worked for Cookpad, Inc. She visits kitchens in homes around the world to cook with them, and shares her views on life and society as seen through cooking. She writes articles and recipes for Cookpad News, Nikkei DUAL, and other publications. She also gives classes at elementary, junior high, and high schools throughout Japan. She has visited more than 60 countries/regions.
