They were happily working together near the fields, so we asked them to join us there for a bit.
This is the mother of the farmer's owner and the neighbors who were participating in the work.
Cotton can be harvested roughly four months after planting, and here they harvest it once a year and grow rice during the rainy season.
They also grow a variety of other crops such as potatoes, coconuts, guava, and curry leaves.
Cotton is not grown on a large scale by large corporations, but by small family-based farmers who grow it according to their climate and lifestyle.
The organic cotton clothes that we wear casually at sisam are also the breath of someone's life. I feel that I am becoming more and more attached to them.
