[What exactly is antique glass? The origin of glass can be traced back to the Mesopotamian civilization. For approximately 4200 years, glass has developed along with people, and there was a time when only royalty and aristocrats were allowed to use it. This book unravels the history of glass and introduces European antique glass from the late 19th to early 20th centuries, which can actually be enjoyed, organized by brand and richly illustrated with photographs, illustrations, and other visuals.

Antique Serendipity Seiko Ohno
Seiko Ohno moved to England in her 20s to pursue her love of antiques. After returning to Japan, she worked as a gallery manager at the Imura Museum of Art, which is known for its collection of antique crystal glass. She is now an independent artist, and has opened her own store, Antique Serendipity, which tells the historical stories of antique pieces by utilizing her extensive knowledge and experience of buying in Europe.
