This is a woven fabric from the Enshu region.
The use of reverse slub yarns, which are thinner in some places, and white-dyed kasuri yarns, which leave the yarn white, gives this fabric a fluffy finish with a unique surface texture.
The fabric is woven so that the yarn density is not increased, resulting in a soft fabric.
