It is said that the arabesque pattern came to Japan from Persia via the Silk Road, but the exotic paisley pattern has a nostalgic retro atmosphere and fits in with interior decorations better than expected. The fabric is a single piece of 100% cotton with a firm [thickness], supple, and soft texture. It is wrinkle-resistant, so it can be used as a sofa cover, bedspread, or partition like a curtain, and is a very easy-to-use interior fabric.
Persian chintz (garamkar) is dyed by hand using several age-old hand-carved wooden patterns, changing the patterns and colors, and stamping the patterns over and over again by hand. In a workshop in Iskafan, the ancient capital of Iran, artisans carefully dye each piece and twist the tassels around it by hand, all by hand. Unlike cloth that is printed at high speed by a machine at once, we hope you will enjoy the craftsmanship of this time-consuming handmade work.
