In 2006, Chiaro Rudolph, former designer of [Tod's] and [Jil Sander], became the designer. In Italy, the brand has actual stores alongside maison brands, and is also sold in major select stores and department stores in Japan.
The fabric is lightweight and durable (it can only be sewn on a custom-made sewing machine in Germany). The thick stitches called [visona* stitch], invented by the founder about 30 years ago, are an eye-brand icon.
