This glass series[es] enhances the high quality of aroma.

Born in Shinjuku, Tokyo, graduated from Chiba University's Faculty of Engineering in 1984, and after a four-and-a-half-year stint at the Design Center at Sony's headquarters and at the Design Center of America, became independent in 1991.
After establishing Shinichi Sumikawa Design Office in 1991, he has been working independently since then.
He has been backpacking and working in 57 countries around the world, and has been practicing free-spirited design.
He specializes in ergonomic curved surface design using his geometric skills as an engineering designer, 3D CAD, and a printer.
The CAD he uses is Lino. He is currently using his fourth printer, AFINIA, 2016.
